Bee Soles - Vans
Bees are dying because their habitats are being destroyed. Ever noticed that the sole of Van’s shoes looks like honeycomb? We’re recycling Van’s shoe soles for bees to create new environments. Ride For The Hive.
At skate parks and farmer’s markets, people are able to exchange their Vans shoes for a bottle of honey.
Van’s will recycle the soles of their shoes into skeleton bases for Bee’s to create new honeycomb hives around.
Allowing the Van’s first sustainable Bee Sole farm to be created.
The Sweet Launch
“Live” billboards placed in secluded areas outside the city.
OOH/Socials Honey Activation
Product
To make the process a full circle experience, Vans will create skate wax from the honeycomb they have produced with the recycled hives. Available at Vans stores.
We’ll have posters around the city (and socials) to keep the momentum. People will be able to scan and unlock a bottle of honey.
