Redesigning “The Car” - AM
The identity of Arctic Monkeys has changed a lot over the past few years. Their last album, "The Car," is a filmic, contemplative experience that feels like sitting alone in a car with nothing but space to think. It's a mysterious, though-provoking, and enigmatic record about wrapping your mind fully around ideas, the kind of discovery that only happens when you stop rushing and let yourself drift into deeper reflection.

Activation
A mysterious car sits parked in Washington Square Park, NYC. Inside, "The Car" plays on loop, but the locked doors muffle the sound, leaving only fragments audible to passersby. This teases the audience, drawing people closer to catch glimpses of what's coming out soon.
There will be “parking citations” on the car. No one really knows how long this car has been here, or who it really belongs to.
Socials
Once the code on the car and parking tickets is scanned, it leads to the pre-save of the album.
Cinematic shorts released across socials, each building tension and mystery ahead of the album drop. Like the album itself, these films create mystery and withhold information. Only the release date can be seen on the radio, where the music plays.
